Hi all, I'm still alive and well.
I've actually been pretty busy organising a few things. Slowly but surely like always.
In January my cousin from Scotland came down for 2 weeks of travel and to catch up so I spent some days with him out and about. We went to Lorne one of the days we hung out and had lunch at a pub. Super nice drive up and back with the view of the coastline. I took my camera with me and snapped a few shots.
As well as that, a few weeks earlier I had a roll of black and white film in my camera, which I wanted to use up, so I used it on a quick walk around Lara and some shots came out pretty well.
I don't usually like shooting black and white but some times I like to throw a curve ball at myself and try it out.
I spent quite a bit of time in January working on a script which I have managed to finish. I would like to one day this year make it into a short film but that's a future project for sure. I have been keeping busy with film work and even though they are passion projects, I just enjoy staying busy and creative.
I have another script in mind I will start soon, and I've been putting some work into this website to get it up and running for future things.
Amongst all this, at the start of February I had my first photography print in an art show based in Geelong.
A friend of mine set it all up and got in touch with me and a bunch of other creatives to gather work pieces to put on show.
Being photo based, she set a Prompt as the theme focus, which was 'Obstruction', and it had me thinking for some time on what to do. I decided to delve through some photos I had already taken from travelling and found one from Japan which fit the theme perfectly in my opinion.
Here's the snap I used. I also managed to sell it, which would make it the first photograph I've sold which feels awesome.

Some other news for what's been happening recently is that I have a new job based in St Kilda right on the beach. I'm staying pretty busy with this and also starting to look at places to move into. Hoping it all goes smoothly but I know it's gonna keep me on my toes. Would be great to get back to living in the city again.
Oh, and I am looking into printing a Zine for some photography I've done on film. I've been organising a theme and tone I want to focus on, and putting together some quotes which match the focus of the mood.
Lots of things in the works, keeping me busy and creative which is great. It's been pretty slow with finding a new job so all of this organising and writing has been good to keep me busy and active. But now that I have found a job, I'm gonna have to find the right balance again.
Anyway, that's me right now, here's to the next few months to come.
