Re-visiting Travel Photos - (Sweden - September to October 2017 - Digital)

2017 was a big year of travelling for myself and Caroline. After going to Japan and then Sydney, we embarked on a 6-month trip living in London. Before getting there though, we went to Sweden - Linkoping to stay with Caroline's family for 2 weeks. Caroline had been overseas in Australia for a whole year so our time here was spent catching up with her family instead of exploring the city taking photos.

We spent a day in Linkoping's 'Old Town' and that is where the majority of the photos were taken.

I'll do a bit of an 'Original, edit, and re-edit' comparison with the photos I have.

Breaking down the edits I did in the past, I still like them. I really brought out the colours of what was in the frame. As for framing, there is a lot of depth, with the foreground, background, and centre all filled and the subject mainly framed in the centre.

Looking back at these now, I feel transported into a fairytale book, vintage and sweet. It has a sort of Wes Anderson style to it through location and framing. I've come to love pastel colours and these photos definitely have a soft palette. To be honest, I actually prefer some of these older edits over the re-edits I've done which is quite a surprise.

These pictures still hold up and I might even add a few to my Digital Photography tab.

(After the Soccer shots, the photos are all my older edits.)
