Just a quick post this week with a bunch of photos from a day trip bus tour of Phillip Island. I actually made a video of this trip which I really like. It sets the right mood through music and colour. I'll put a link to the video up in here.
Caroline and I did a day trip bus tour in January last year. The weather was great and the views even more so. Some basic edits for this blog post, nothing fancy.
Even with just a quick edit of these photos, I can see a difference in how I approach editing. I think it has a lot to do with the sequence of what I change or set first.
When I edit now, I start by transforming (framing) the image and setting the lens correction. Then go into the temperature, tones, and presence. Then the tone curve, HSL, and split toning.
I definitely feel more organised when viewing and changing settings of an image now than I did before.
Not a lot to say with these edits. Feel free to view them side by side below.
I have a few exciting things happening right now that I'll get into in the coming weeks, make sure to check back here to keep up with everything.
That's it for this week's post. Join me next Friday for the next post. Until then, stay safe.
