Welcome to part 2 of the Berlin photos. These photos were taken on the 9th of June, the same day the part 1 photos were taken. We were on a free walking tour around central Berlin which took us to places with a rich history. When it concluded we stumbled upon a small market and had a look around. In total there are 28 photos that have been re-edited. Here are some of my favourites that I'll talk about.
This one surprised me because I didn't notice the cloud behind the cross until I started the re-edit and I absolutely love the composition. I thought it would be hard to balance because the front of the building with the pillars and the green roof did not line up together in the centre, but having the cross centred gives it a strong focus point so it isn't as noticeable or disturbing to the eye in my opinion. I think the edges at the bottom could use some cleaning up such as the cut off limbs and some more contrast might help sell it.

Another odd composition that I love - The fern blocking the girl's face gives a sense of mystery and the colours complement that in a dreamy way. Strong sun rays, nice soft shadows and an object/subject that draws the eye in. The edges are clean, but when analysing for a while the blurry object at the bottom right does feel distracting.

A nice balanced Wes Anderson-ness image. I like the symmetry with the building. If the large group of people were more centred it would feel complete. Only thing I would consider testing out is more saturation and contrast to the pink.

Another shot that was hard to find the centre point with between all the statues, but in the end isn't too bad. I got some good shots out of this one. I love the strong whites and soft shadows. The way the sky and concrete ground wrap around the building is awesome, softly blending together in the second image. The second image would have been complete if the pattern on the ground were both lined up on the edges of the frame. Oddly enough, I like the clothing choices as the colours fit nicely. a few interesting characters to look at too.

That's all I have to say in this post. Enjoy the comparison photos below and the rest of the images from Berlin. Thanks for reading and keep an eye on the store for some of the photos from this blog post.
Catch you all next week, until then, stay safe.
