8th October, 2017. As we landed in London, our first place we stayed at was in Collier's Wood. It was Southwest of Central London, a 40 Minute trip with the Northern Line. We stand with a couple and their baby girl, and a fat cat called Hoops for 2 weeks. This was an insight to things that would come. The first thing we checked out, even before going to our accommodation was a Pub called The Woodins Shades, across from Liverpool Station. We got an all out English breakfast and a beer to start the day. After that we caught our first Tube train from Liverpool Station to Oxford Circus and wandered around, coming across Hamley's Toy Shop. After checking that out we made our way to Collier's street.
We settled in and planned out places to check out with the 2 weeks we had here. Almost each day we were going into the city to see all the landmarks and tourist hot spots. We checked out The Shard, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, James Park (Saw my first Squirrel there), London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Notting Hill, Hyde Park. We checked out a local fair while up in Colliers Wood, which they had a Snail Race held there. Was pretty intense. We headed to Carnaby and soaked in the small stores and style. Went to King's Cross station and saw the Platform 9 3/4 attraction. Went to London Bridge, The Monument, The 'Gherkin' (AKA Dildo). We saw all this within the 2 weeks.
On the 18th, we moved to a hostel for 2 nights before our next Airbnb destination and our best airbnb location.
We arrived at Bella and Dexter's in Greenwich/Woolwich on 20th October. They live in a 4th floor Apartment that is so cosy and gives off a gentle feeling. We had a comfy, warm atmosphere and very kind and fun hosts. All you could ask for! This kicked off our next leg of the journey as I started my EBS bartending course 23rd October.
